Character name The (Tenth) Doctor
Age 900-910
Birth date Around 900 years ago! :3
Description; personality and appearance The Tenth Doctor generally displays a light-hearted, talkative, easy-going, witty and cheeky manner, but repeatedly demonstrates a vengeful and unforgiving streak as well. He wears his own dark brown hair in various ways throughout the series: unstyled, 1950s-style quiff, and flattened forwards. He also has dark brown eyes. He is perceived by most, including companions and other characters as "slim and a little bit foxy". He generally wears either a dark brown (with blue pinstripes) or a blue (with rust red pinstripes) four-buttoned suit, a shirt and a tie, a light brown faux-suede overcoat (which he claims was given to him by Janis JOplin), and different coloured pairs of Chuck Taylors, depending on his suit.
Face Claim David Tennant
History The Tenth Doctor’s story began when The Ninth Doctor regenerated into the Tenth after he absorbed the Time Vortex out of Rose and put it back into the heart of the TARDIS. The forces of it began to destroy ever cell in his body and regenerated. He left Jack on Satellite 5 and took Rose to Earth. There he started to suffer from manic hyperactivity and after stumbling out of the TARDIS he wished Jackie and Mickey a Merry Christmas and fell into a coma. He momentarily woke up to save Rose, Mickey and Jackie from the killer Christmas tree, but due to the stress of being woken up too soon he collapsed again. The following morning on Christmas morning the TARDIS was taken aboard the Sycrorax space ship, with the help of some good old tea The Doctor woke up. He challenged the leader for the fate of one third of the people and for the fate of the Earth. During the sword fight the Sycrorax leader chopped the Time Lord’s hand off, but because The Doctor was in his first fifteen hours of regeneration he was able to grow a new hand and defeated the Sycrorax leader. As the rest of the aliens on the ship fled, the Prime Minister Harriet Jones ordered Torchwood to destroy the ship. The enraged Doctor brought down her role as Prime Minister to a quick downfall.
After that day he took his companion Rose to other worlds, fighting demons and aliens. They went to the New Earth where The Doctor met the Face of Boe and saved many lives and stopped the Sisters of Plentitude. They then travelled to 1879 in Scotland where they protected Queen Victoria, The Doctor and Rose were knighted, but the Queen founded Torchwood, mostly to protect the Earth from The Doctor as well as other alien threats.
Their lovely adventures continued, but it came to a sudden end during the battle of Canary Wharf when she left her parents in the Parallel Universe to help The Doctor save the universe. Her lever malfunctioned and was barely saved by her father and taken back to the Parallel Universe before being sucked into the void. Before the final pathway to her new universe closed, she told him about her love for him, he was about to tell her his answer when he was suddenly cut off.
The Doctor travelled alone until he met Martha Jones, a brilliant Doctor in training. After accepting her help, the two worked together to save every citizen in the hospital, which was on the moon, from Judoons and the plasmavore and the hospital was put back on Earth by the Judoon. He told her that she was only going to have one trip and right back home, but accepted her as his new companion. The two were going to the end of the universe itself, at the same time a eager Captain Jack Harkness grabbed onto the side. The three found themselves coming face to face with The Master; The Doctor was aged to a point that he was practically useless. With Jack captured and he himself prisoner of the Master, he had to put all his faith and trust into Martha, who travelled the planet for one year gathering parts to a gun that will kill the Master. She was soon captured and revealed that the plan was that everyone on earth was going to think the same word at the same time at the end of the countdown. Which happened and The Doctor was rejuvenated and was able to stop The Master. In the end, Jack went back to Torchwood and Martha chose to stay home and was travelling alone again.
His lonely travels ended when he came across an old friend, Donna Noble, the two travelled to Pompeii where they discovered that alien technology was preventing the volcano to erupt, but if they left the aliens alone the whole planet will be destroyed so it was Pompeii or the whole world. They pulled the lever, and after some bickering Donna convinced the Time Lord to save just one family, which he did do. He then accepted the fact that he needed Donna and made her his companion. Just like the other companions they travelled the universe, saving the Ood and other aliens, doing lots of running. Along the way they met The Doctor’s daughter Jenny after his hand was stuck into a machine that took his DNA and created Jenny. The Doctor did not accept her until she was mortally injured, she ultimately died in his arms and the mortified Time Lord never got to see the plants of the planet bring her back to life. Just when things were getting back into the swing of lots of running and good old fun, the Daleks came back and Stole Planet Earth (Right after “Exiting Wounds” in Torchwood.) and took it to a clever hiding place along with other planets. The Doctor was able to locate the planet with the help of Torchwood and other willing citizens of the Earth. He faced Davros, but was captured; the human Doctor and The DoctorDonna came to the rescue and saved the day. The Daleks destroyed and the Earth with the other planets back where they belong, everyone went their separate ways. He was forced to wipe Donna’s memories of him due to the fact that a human cannot take in a Time Lord’s knowledge because it will kill a normal human. He once again was travelling alone, going to Mars and saving a bus full of people and Earth once again from an alien threat.
He then found himself facing The Master once again. But The Master had the plan to bring the Time Lords back from the void, and was about to succeed until The Doctor stepped… er.. dropped in. He realized the link of the Time Lords and Earth was the White Point Star, but The Master was in the way and firmly told him, “Get out of the way.” The Master dropped out of aim and The Doctor destroyed the diamond, sending the Time Lords back into the void. Rassilon was about to destroy The Doctor when The Master got in the way and shot his life force, as a form of electricity at the Time Lord President; saving The Doctor’s life. Or so that would seem when Donna’s grandpa knocked three times on the door that he was locked behind. The Doctor saved him but at the cost of his own life.
The Doctor made some trips to say good bye to everyone before he went into the planets orbit and regenerated.
RP Sample (Well, it depends what is happening if I write a lot. Sometimes I'll write a lot, and sometimes I'll write very little. Here's a kind of.. Neutral thing. He's with a lady named Alice, and there are two Daleks invading her house.)
The second Dalek was hit straight at the top with the bullet that Alice had fired. There was a loud clancking of metal as the top was busted off. The Dalek powered down. "Human nuisance. Dispose of her first." the front Dalek said, turning towards Alice. "What?! Dalek destroyed by a human?! I shall return, with more Daleks. We shall win. And I shall kill your companions, Doctor. All of them!"
The Doctor huffed at the Dalek's threats. "Alice.." The Doctor said to his companion, voice determinate, "I see you're too stubborn to go, so at least don't get hurt." He turned to the Dalek, angry grimace on his face. "I'd like to see you try!" the Doctor yelled at the Dalek.
